Litter Pick – Twice a year the parish holds a litter pick twice annually to help keep our roads and verges clean. All equipment and training is provided at the meetup and all are most welcome to come along and help out. Spring pick is usually first Sunday of April, Autumn pick usually 1st Sunday of September. Both will be confirmed closer to the date on the website events channel.
Parish Walk – We are very fortunate to have a dedicated footpath fanatic in the parish and he regularly leads walks around the less well travelled nooks and crannies of our lovely countryside. Walks are planned in advance and are usually suitable for most keen ramblers. More information is posted close to the date but the routes are usually circular and start and finish at the pub.
Pancake Day – Keeping it simple, a group of volunteers whip up a tonne of batter and flip some fantastic pancakes with all your favorite toppings. A bit of a moveable feast, but usually in the early evening on a weekend in February to keep it family friendly – a great chance for a casual get-together for all the parish.
