The Autumn Parish Walk is scheduled for 10am, Sunday 29th Oct
It’s wet and muddy everywhere but Parish Walkers are not usually deterred. Open to everyone in the parish and beyond, the Walk on Sunday 29th October is about 4 to 5 delightful miles through woodland (probably muddy tracks), beech groves (beautiful), fields (dog walkers; it’s unlikely but we could encounter cattle), through Yarnfield Medieval village site, along quiet lanes and through lovely scenery although perhaps a little early for full autumn colours. Do wear suitable clothing and boots. Car drivers please wait just before 10.00 at the White Hart to offer lifts to those without transport. We will leave the White Hart at 10.00 and park in the informal lay-by on the right hand side just past the cottages after the tight bend on the Gare Hill road. Gentle rain should not deter us but in case of seriously bad weather text or phone John on 07831 823 285 to check cancellation plans. Join the walk entirely at your own risk.
