Sunday April 6th at 10.00 a.m. from the White Hart
It was suggested that we walk the bounds of Trudoxhill Parish this year so the spring Parish Walk will take in the northern half walking footpaths, roads and lanes as near as possible to the definitive northern Parish boundary. The autumn walk can take in the southern half.
We will start at the White hart and head west to the Bruton road, then up to and along the Ridgeway, down Cheese Hill and across Marston Estate to the Lighthouse. Perhaps a coffee here before heading back over fields to Tuckmarsh Lane and along Foghamshire Lane to the White Hart in time for a lunchtime pint.
A distance of about 5 miles. All are welcome to join (at your own risk it must be said) and enjoy the delightful environment in which we are lucky enough to live. Good footwear is advised. Some gentle rain shouldn’t stop us but in case of bad weather on the day contact John Salmon 07831 823 285 to confirm whether or not the walk will go ahead.
